THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION

 

The Foundation is directed by the Board of Administration, which is charged with determining the general guidelines governing its operation. The Board consists of: (a) the serving President of Parliament plus all former presidents; (b) the presidents of the parliamentary groups; (c) every former president of a parliamentary group who have served as Prime Minister; (d) the Secretary General of the Parliament; (e) the secretary General of the Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy.

The Board of Administration is chaired by the President of Parliament, who also represents the Foundation in all its dealings.

The Board appoints a former President of Parliament as its Vice-Chairperson.

The Board monitors the running of the Foundation and approves its annual budget and statement of accounts.

 

The current Board consists of:

  • The Foundation’s Chairperson: Mr. Konstantinos Tasoulas, President of the Hellenic Parliament

 

  • The Foundation’s Vice-chair: Mr. Apostolos Kaklamanis, former President of the Hellenic Parliament
  • The Foundation’s Vice-chair: Mrs. Anna Benaki-Psarouda, former President of the Hellenic Parliament
  • The Foundation’s Vice-chair: Mr. Viron Polydoras, former President of the Hellenic Parliament
  • The Foundation’s Vice-chair: Mr. Evangelos Meimarakis, former President of the Hellenic Parliament
  • The Foundation’s Vice-chair: Mrs. Zoi Konstantopoulou, former President of the Hellenic Parliament
  • The Foundation’s Vice-chair: Mr. Nikolaos Voutsis, ex President of the Hellenic Parliament

THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

 

An Executive Committee is charged with executing the resolutions of the Foundation’s Board of Administration, and defining specific goals and priorities for the Foundation - and taking decisions relevant to these - within the framework of guidelines laid down by the Board.

The Executive Committee consists of:
